Who we are

My name is Ian Wemyss, and I founded Advanced Well and Septic Inspections to provide the community with trusted, professional well and septic system inspections. With years of hands-on experience in the field and over 3,000 inspections performed, I bring the specialized knowledge required to properly evaluate these systems. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a focus in environmental science and have applied that education to build a career centered on well and septic system evaluation.

Having spent many years in the field, I have seen firsthand the shortcomings within the industry, particularly when it comes to consistency, education, and interpretation of findings. These experiences are a large part of why I started this company—to raise the standard of well and septic inspections and provide clients with clear, accurate, and reliable information.

Our company focuses exclusively on inspections and does not perform septic installations, ensuring our findings remain objective and free from conflicts of interest.
